PRCP have officially started at 12.7.2009
1st three days are lectures on the skin of our duties, then slowly, we go to the ward...

Life thus far-----
Ok, very hectic, a bit stressful, but still enjoyable ^^ I have my 3 months PRCP at ward 56, a cardio ward =) I'm currently taking 2-3 cases >.< And starting to do changes independently =) I wanna adapt asap!

I have decided to join NHC after much debate D= Yes~ SGH nvr send me the application form so sayonara le!

What do we do...
Bascially the 1st week++ was junior work ^^ we don't touch the cases at all, or follow doctors, or call anyone, or do anything but meeting the basic care of the patients.
Then slowly, take 1 case at a time, we start doing changes, writing reports that is totally hellish... serving medications full blast, and answering relatives qns when needed. We also do listing liao!
Slowly, slowly ^^ nurses work is really not easy.
I remember last time when I haven't work as one, to me nurses only like do basic chores, but now once you are in it you know jolly well what they do sia.

Currently I work... Morning: 7am to 3.30pm, Noon: 1pm to 9.30pm, and Night: 9pm to 7.30am.
Night not yet, but arriving soon ^^

The staff at the ward 56... 99% are nice, there's a small minority that falls under 'ok'. For those in my side should know who le~ Make new friends in this encounter...
Chong WeiTing >> a bit crazy, but hey, she's super nice =D life is nvr quiet with her around, and time sure flies. LOL. We go crazy together ^^ I found my partner in crimework yes!
Hazikah(?) >> I not sure how to spell her name... I'm a sucker at spelling names... Ha. She's nice, pretty =D and very very good with what she's doing.
ShunMei >> Ahaha she's nice also! Ok la basically everyone I will mention is nice de. I nvr mention or seldom mention not nice ppl in my blog anyway. She helps me alot ^^ for abt 2-3 wks we were same shift and I kept troubling her with my stupid qns O.o because I really dunno the ward layout... OMG.

My preceptor is SSN Liang Ming =D Wow, a super cool personel xD I like to talk to her, she crack me up almost everytime. It's sad we don't get to go same shift. Dunno why the roster like dat de.. reflect le also like no use? God bless ba. How can preceptor and preceptee like nvr work together de? How to write report/remarks like this!
